A bomb threat has forced the evacuation of the campus of the University of the Maryland Eastern Shore this morning.
The UMES Campus Police Chief says he learned about the threat at around 10 a.m.
The Salisbury Daily Times reports that it was aimed at a building now under construction.
There were more than 150 on the work crew at the time.
No students were on campus today but some of the faculty members and researchers were present.
Traffic around the school on College Backbone Road, John Wilson Drive and UMES Boulevard has been diverted.
