There is now a description for a suspect in one of two shootings on the Delaware State University campus.

University spokesman Carlos Holmes said that the suspect in the second incident is an African American male between 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall with dreadlocks.

He was seen driving a four-door burgundy vehicle.

The incident occurred at the off-campus University Courtyard student apartment complex.

The university got a report of the shooting around 1 a.m.

No one was injured.

The first incident involved a fraternity-sorority cookout that attracted a large number of students and others from the community.

Around 8 p.m. shots were heard and three males were hit.

None were university students.

The university police are investigating both incidents.
