WASHINGTON (AP) - Motorists in Delaware are paying 3 cents more at the pump when compared with a week ago.
AAA Mid-Atlantic said Sunday in a weekly report that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Delaware was $2.19. That's compared to $2.16 a week ago.
Motorists in the region are paying $1.20 less than a year ago. At this time last year Delaware drivers were paying $3.39 per gallon.
Virginia
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Gas prices are on the rise in Virginia.
The Mid-Atlantic Triple A reports that the average price of a gallon of gas in Virginia is now $2.12 a gallon. That is up 4 cents from a week ago, but down nearly a dollar from a year ago.
Gas prices range from a low of $2.08 in the Roanoke area to $2.16 in the Norfolk region. Gas prices in Virginia were $3.19 one year ago.
Motorists in Maryland are paying 3 cents more at the pump when compared with a week ago.

AAA Mid-Atlantic said Friday in a weekly report that the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Maryland was $2.22, up from $2.19 a week ago.
The price of gas in the state is 2 cents below the national average of $2.24.
The average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in cities around the state includes $2.20 in Baltimore and $2.15 in Salisbury.
Motorists in the state are paying $1.16 less per gallon than at this time last year when the average price of a gallon of regular gas was $3.38 per gallon.
Nationally, gas prices are $2.25, up 7 cents from a year ago. Nationally, a gallon of gas was $3.34 in 2014.
