WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Bus fares are increasing in Delaware starting in about a week.

The Wilmington News Journal reports bus fares statewide will increase from $1.50 to $1.75 per trip starting Jan. 18.

The hike is the second phase of a three-phase plan to increase fares by 74 percent over three years. Next year, fixed-route bus fares will go up to $2.00
