BALTIMORE (AP) - First lady Michelle Obama is planning to campaign for Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown in the Maryland governor's race.

Obama is scheduled to attend a rally in Baltimore on Monday at the War Memorial Building.

Rep. Elijah Cummings also is scheduled to attend the rally, which comes a day before Election Day.

Brown has had a number of prominent political figures raise money and stump for him. Former President Bill Clinton attended a fundraiser in late September. President Barack Obama attended a rally in Prince George's County last month. Hillary Rodham Clinton attended a rally with Brown last week.

Christie said Sunday that O'Malley should just get ready to clear out his office for Republican Larry Hogan.

Christie came to Maryland for the fourth time to stump for Hogan in his bid against Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown in the Maryland governor's race.

The Washington Post reported Saturday that O'Malley said he believed Brown would win by 2 or 3 percentage points. The newspaper also reported O'Malley said he was "a little nervous" about the race.

Christie and O'Malley are potential 2016 presidential candidates.
