Rewarding Customers Who Conserve Electricity Today

Don Rush

Delmarva Power has declared Tuesday as a peak savings day for customers who conserve energy with temperatures expected to peak to the mid-90’s.

Customers will get $1.25 off their bill for every kilowatt hour of reduced usage.

In Delaware they will receive a phone call notifying them that the saving period will begin from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Energy rewards customers in Maryland and Delaware should have their air conditioner compressors off and on for short intervals during that time.

During summer peak periods the program helps reduce electricity consumption.
