A Pennsylvania man who was assaulted in Ocean City has died.

Police say 37-year old Justin Cancelliere died from his injuries yesterday at Atlantic General Hospital.

The resort’s police arrived at the Plim Plaza Hotel on Baltimore Avenue early Sunday morning to help with an EMS call.

The officers say they found the man unconscious and unresponsive in the parking lot.

Ocean City detectives are investigating to determine the cause and circumstances of the man’s death.

An autopsy is set to take place today by the Medical Examiner’s office in Baltimore.
