Forty years after President Richard M. Nixon resigned his office, his Republican party is now struggling with its future. In many ways, he can be seen as a transitional figure getting the backing of the more liberal GOP of the Northeast and the beginnings of the Republican Solid South. Delmarva Public Radio's Don Rush spoke with Roger Stone, a political operative who worked for Nixon and who has authored a new book, "Nixon's Secrets", about the former president's role in his party and where the GOP is headed amidst the changing demographics of the 21st century.
