Headquarters Live at Old Fire Station Could Open by Year's End

It looks like the performing arts center Headquarters Live at the old Fire Station in Salisbury could be open by the end of the year.

The Historic District Commission has given its blessing to three large garage doors on the north side of the South Division Street building.

These would allow audiences outside to still see the performance.

A wrought-iron fence would separate the paying customers from those out on the street.

Brad Gillis, one of the developers told the Salisbury Daily Times, that the nearly $1 million renovation will make the stage the main attraction instead of the bar.

He said that given Salisbury’s location between Virginia Beach and Philadelphia the facility could attract national acts.
