In the midst of the holocaust, a concentration camp in Czechoslovakia witnessed a group of around 150 Jewish inmates perform Giuseppe Verdi's Requiem funeral mass. Renowned conductor Murry Sidlin was so struck by this story, that he produced a film about this human triumph. Sidlin spoke with Delmarva Public Radio's Don Rush about the project and its meaning. The film will be shown April 6th at the Perdue Auditorium on the campus of Salisbury University.
