Gas Prices Could Drop Below $3.00 A Gallon

Don Rush

Gas prices could fall below $3.00 a gallon by Christmas for unleaded in Delaware says Jim Lardear with Triple AAA Mid-Altantic.

He noted that it has not been below that since December of 2010.

Currently the average price of a gallon of gas in Delaware is $3.20 per gallon in Delaware.

That’s down from an average price of $3.64 a gallon in February.

Lardear told the Wilmington News Journal that there are six states where the price has already fallen below the $3.00 mark.

He adds, that in some areas of New Jersey where the gas tax is lower it has dipped below the $3.00 mark.
