Three-term Worcester County Commissioner Judy Boggs has announced her retirement from public office, effective early 2015.
She says she wants to “refocus” her life on her family.
Boggs made the announcement on Saturday at one of her regular town hall meetings at the Ocean Pines Library.
She emphasized that her decision has nothing to do with her health or a desire to run for higher office.
