New Dover High School Needs More Funding for Completion

The new Dover High School needs another $600-thousand dollars to complete its East entrance.

The entrance, says School Board Vice President Brian Lewis, is important for road safety and dealing with emergency vehicles during congestion.

WBOC reports that more funds are also needs to complete a softball and baseball field two extra parking lots and extra stadium seats.

Word of the shortfall came during a meeting this week as project manager Brad Cowen gave the board an update on the $114 million project.

The school is slated to be open next Fall.
