The Antares rocket lifted off from the Wallops Flight Facility just before 11 a.m. this morning.
The Orbital Sciences Corporation’s Antares rocket is taking the Cygnus Spacecraft on its first resupply mission to the International Space Station.
The two stage Antares is 133 feet tall and is the second major launch in less than two weeks with the Moon mission earlier this month.
Liftoff yesterday was postponed by bad weather.

(AP) The Cygnus capsule is due to arrive at the space station on Sunday, following four days of testing.
It's only the second private business to attempt a shipment like this. The California-based SpaceX company has been delivering station cargo for more than a year under a NASA contract.
The Cygnus capsule contains 1,300 pounds of food, clothing and goodies for the astronauts - nothing too valuable given this is a test flight.
