DOVER, Del. (AP) - Police say a Wesley College student has been arrested after bringing a loaded handgun to class in his backpack.

Dover police say two students alerted campus police on Tuesday and officers arrested the student, 19-year-old Vaughn Reese of Slatington, Pa., in the classroom without incident. Officials say the other students reported seeing the gun in Reese's bag the night before.

Police say the .25-caliber Titan handgun had one round in the magazine.

Reese is charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon and possession of a weapon in a safe school zone.

School officials say Reese could be subject to disciplinary action because of the arrest.
