Fire Leaves Dozens Homeless in Delaware

Dozens have been left homeless and one man injured after a fire hit an apartment building last night in Bear, Delaware.

The blaze occurred after 8:30 p.m. in the village of Canterbury off Smalleys Dam Road.

Eleven fire companies responded to the blaze.

The man injured in the fire was found unconscious on the third floor and was taken to Christiana Hospital where he was admitted in critical condition.

He was not identified.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
