The count is rising for dolphins dying off the Mid-Atlantic coast.
Another six were found dead on New Jersey beaches including Cape May in recent days.
That brings the total since early July to 52.
New Jersey state officials have been working with the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine to determine why so many dolphins are dying.
More than 100 dolphins have washed ashore dead this summer so far in Virginia.
Federal investigators are also looking into the Dolphin deaths along the Eastern Seaboard with possible causes ranging from disease and changes in the environment to human activities.
