NASA Wallops Rocket Launch Delayed Again

NASA logo

Two rocket launches from the NASA Wallops flight Facility were scrubbed today because of poor weather conditions in the region.

NASA says it will make another attempt tomorrow between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m..

The two rockets are a Black Brant V and a Terrier-Improved Orion which will lift off 15 seconds apart.

They are part of the Daytime Dynamo experiment which will study a global electrical current that sweeps through the ionosphere.

The rocket trail will not be visible because of the daytime launch but residents in the Wallops region will be able to see them launch.

The NASA Visitor Center will be open at 8 AM on the day of the launch for viewing.
