HEBRON, Md. (AP) - The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man deputies say went into a supermarket, poked holes in packages of meat and moved chicken from refrigerated cases so they would spoil.
Sixty-year-old Steven Charles Berry of Hebron was arrested Tuesday and charged with five counts of malicious destruction of property.
Deputies tell The Daily Times of Salisbury that managers at the Hebron Food Rite contacted them about the alleged tampering and an investigation began last month.
