The switch is official.
The charter middle school Sussex Academy and the Delmarva Christian High School exchanged campuses yesterday during a ceremony in Dover yesterday.
Sussex Academy is expected to grow to 770 students with the addition of grades up through 12th grade over the years and thus needs more space.
Meanwhile, Delmarva Christian has 120-thousand square feet but has not needed that much space.
The old Sussex Academy facility has 38-thousand square feet and is considered a much better fit.
The schools will take three months to make the trade.
