Rehoboth
Parents Magazine has named Rehoboth Beach one of America’s Best Beach Towns for 2013.
The magazine’s writer Karen Cicero selected Rehoboth Beach for its 1.5 mile replenished shoreline overseen by lifeguards, the more than 200 shopping destinations and its boardwalk.
Rehoboth Beach Mayor Sam Cooper told the Wilmington News Journal that he believes the resort caters to a family-friendly environment especially with the close walking proximity to the beach and boardwalks from most of the city.
Carol Everhart, president and executive director of the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce, told the paper that she believes there is a wide variety of activities in the resort.
