all-free-download.com

There was good news for the state of Delaware when it comes to cancer deaths.

Delaware Health and Social Services announced yesterday that they have declined by nearly 19 percent between the second half of the 1990’sand the second half of the last decade.

The First state now ranks 14th nationwide for cancer mortality.

But, the new numbers found that the overall cases and deaths from lung cancer in Delaware are statistically higher than the rest of the US.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that lung cancer accounted for 15 percent of all cancers in the state in the most recent years.

And the number of women dying from lung cancer is 20 percent higher in Delaware than the rest of the country.

Another troubling sign is that Delaware has seen the rate of skin cancer more than triple the national average.
