Brandywine Zoo Reopens River Otter Attraction

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - The Brandywine Zoo is reopening its North American river otter attraction with two new animals.

Zoo officials tell WDEL-AM that the new river otters have taken up residence and will be on view to the public starting Saturday.

The exhibit has an underwater window and an observation bridge to give visitors multiple perspectives on the playful animals.

Zoo director Nancy Falasco says patrons will be able to vote on three sets of names for the male otters -- Red and Hudson, Cisco and Wally or Timber and Clark.

Two otters that previously lived at the zoo died of natural causes after long lives.
