CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - The University of Virginia Board of Supervisors will consider proposed tuition increases and the school's capital plan on Thursday.
University administrators have proposed a 3.8 percent increase in in-state tuition and a 4.8 percent hike in out-of-state tuition. If approved, in-state students would pay $12,458 and out-of-state students would pay $39,844.
Two committee meetings are scheduled before the full board meets at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. However, the school says the schedule could vary.
