DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware health officials are urging consumers to take precautions to prevent possible infection from recalled Farm Rich brand frozen foods.

health officials say retailers in Delaware known to have received recalled products include BJ's, Kroger and Wal-Mart stores. Consumers are being urged to check their freezers for Farm Rich, Market Day, and Schwan's brand frozen foods and dispose of any remaining products. Those who think they might have become ill should contact their health-care provider.

State health officials say no illnesses linked to the recall have been reported in Delaware. Buffalo, N.Y.-based Rich Products Corp. recalled 10 million pounds of frozen foods after 27 E. coli illnesses in 15 states were linked to their products.

Most infected with E. coli suffer from mild diarrhea, but severe infections can be fatal.
