Local Airport Towers to Shutdown

Flying in and out of Delmarva will get a little tougher.

Federal Aviation Administration is shutting down 149 air-traffic control towers to save $637 million by the end of the fiscal year.

These include the Easton/Newman Airport and the Salisbury/Ocean City Regional Airport.

Delmarva Public Radio’s Taylor Rogers prepared report on the impact on the Salisbury facility.
