The Salisbury Daily Times has a new executive editor.
Michael Kilian is associate editor at the Burlington Free Press in Vermont.
He begins the job March 4th.
Kilian says he intends to expand enterprise reporting in the Sunday edition and make better use of the newspaper’s website and social media.
When he arrives in Salisbury he says he plans to meet with people in the community including groups and leaders as well as attending community events.
While at the Vermont publication Kilian planned and edited coverage recognized in Best of Gannett and Associated Press Media Editors among other awards.
