WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware's tourism office is launching the "Delaware Culinary Trail," a group of two dozen of the state's most iconic restaurants.
The launch party is being held Tuesday at Harry's Savoy Grill in Wilmington, one of the restaurants on the list. Other restaurants on the list include Grotto Pizza, which first opened in Rehoboth Beach in 1960, and the Green Room at Hotel du Pont, a French restaurant in Wilmington that occupies an oak paneled room with gold chandeliers.
The tourism office says anyone who visits 15 of the 24 restaurants can request a free cookbook with recipes from the trail's restaurants. The "First State Plates" cookbook is also being sold for $25. Details about the free cookbook offer are on the trail's website.
