The Camden-Wyoming Sewer and Water Authority announced that it will offer up some information in the face of a judge’s order to make detailed financial records available to citizens.
The utility has not said whether it will comply with the order and the Wilmington News Journal reports that authority Chair Mark Dyer would not specify this week the extent or the nature of the organization’s response to the court order.
The paper reports that before Dyer went into a closed door meeting of the board he told a citizen’s group that there would be no public discussion of the long awaited decision.
Dyer did say that there would be – what he called – an information release by the end of the month but he did not explain what public records if any would be made available to citizens.
The lawsuit was filed after repeated attempting by Wyoming Town Treasurer Georgette Williams tried to get access to those records.
