OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) - Ocean City's finest homes are opening their doors to the public this week in an effort to raise money for the town's art league.

Proceeds from the eighth annual Sand Castle Home Tour will be used toward the construction of a new building for the Art League of Ocean City.

The self-guided tour features 10 homes, including a variety of homes that have not been featured before. A docent will be in each home to provide visitors with information about the house.

Rina Thaler, president of the league, says the event is its biggest fundraiser. All 1,000 tickets to last year's tour sold out.
