72- year old Corrine Lynch was killed yesterday after getting off a Shore Transit bus at a stop on Cedar Lane in Fruitland.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
More than 50 people – some family members – gathered at the scene taking in the news…as the police began their investigation.
Family members told the Salisbury Daily Times that they had talked about their safety concerns for the bus stop.
The Tri-County Council for the Lower Shore of Maryland issued an email expressing their condolences to the family.
Police have not released the name of the bus driver.
