DOVER, Del. (AP) - The Delaware Department of Education has launched a database that puts a student's biographical information and test scores into a single file.
The Insight Dashboard program also gives teachers access to student information such as schedules, attendance records, grades and credits. In addition, it flags students at risk of dropping out based on missed classes, failing grades and other information.
The program was piloted in several district and charter schools last year and became available to all teachers last week.
The state has spent about $1.3 million on the program.
