WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden says the state is recovering $115,000 for its Medicaid program as part of a settlement with one of the nation's largest drug wholesalers. Delaware is among 30 states involved in the settlement with the McKesson Corporation.
Biden's office announced Tuesday that the settlement resolves claims the company artificially inflated prices Medicaid paid for prescription drugs.
The company has said the claims are without merit but determined that the settlement was in the best interests of employees, customers, suppliers and shareholders given the uncertainty of litigation.
