Greenwood Couple Found Dead

UPDATE 4/27 4:45 p.m.

Delaware State Police have ruled the death of a senior Greenwood Couple as a double homicide.

Delaware State Police are investigating the deaths of a senior Greenwood couple who were found in their home late yesterday.

Authorities say troopers were called to a residence located in the 28000 block of Liden School Road at about 5:30 p.m. in the afternoon after concerned neighbors called police and said they had not seen any activity by the couple since Sunday.

After unsuccessfully trying to make contact with the couple, troopers entered the house and found 66-year-old Carolyn Cashwell and her husband 77-year-old Harvey Cashwell dead.

Delaware State Police say the investigation is ongoing.
