Divisiveness In Presidential Nominations is Not Unique to the GOP

 

    The Republican presidential primary season has been a divisive one with Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul battling it out across the nation. 

     The Democrats and the President may be looking on with some smugness, but in past years their own party has also been hit with strife that cost it the White House.
