Salisbury – The world watched as thousands of protesters spurred on by new media like Twitter, Facebook and Google overthrew the thirty year dictatorship of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak this month. Leslie Walker, Knight Visiting Professor in Digital Innovation at the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism, says these events portend a very different future for journalism as we know it.
