Salisbury – With plans to create a Muslim cultural center and mosque near Ground Zero in New York, public and political opposition has turned into -- what some view -- as an anti-Islmamic sentiment that is spreading across the country. Muqtedar Kahn, who is an associate professor at the University of Delaware and attends a mosque in Newark, says he is concerned about these developments, but notes that for most Muslim Americans their experience in this country has been positive.
