Culmination of the Elizabeth Loker International Concerto Competition Featuring the three finalists performing with the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra: Sophia Geng, Violin, from Andover, Massachusetts, performing Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D Major; Rebekah Hou, Harp, from Cleveland, Ohio, performing Ginastera’s Harp Concerto; and Alejandro Gomez Pareja, Cello from Madrid, Spain, performing Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1. These finalists will compete for a $5,000 top prize, a $2,500 second place prize, and a $1,000 third place prize, along with a $500 Audience Choice Award. Patrons who attend the concert will participate in the final round by voting for the Audience Prize.
