Crowned in Culture
Join us with Danielle Johnson, Senior Cosmetologist, for an engaging Black History Month program exploring the history and cultural significance of hair and beauty in African and African-American communities. This interactive event features a panel discussion on hair health, styling, hair loss, and current trends, followed by a live model showcase celebrating heritage, creativity, and modern expression. Come learn, connect, and celebrate the power of Black beauty across generations.
As owner of Mirror Mirror Salon in historic Cambridge, Maryland, Danielle combines technical excellence with a calming, client-focused experience. A U.S. Army veteran, Danielle is passionate about mentorship and empowering women through beauty and education. Her work is proudly featured on “Young Harriet,” the 13-foot Harriet Tubman statue located outside the Dorchester County Circuit Court, honoring both heritage and legacy.
