30 for 30- Delaware Envirothon Fundraiser
We’re thrilled to share that the Delaware Envirothon is turning 30 in 2026 – three decades of empowering students to explore natural resource conservation, environmental science, and real-world problem solving.
What is the Delaware Envirothon?
The Delaware Envirothon is a hands-on, problem-solving environmental education program for high school students. Through team-based competition, students explore key natural resource topics—air quality, aquatic ecology, forestry, soil and land use, wildlife, public speaking, and a rotating current issue—while developing critical thinking, teamwork, and real-world science skills.
Designed as a ready-to-use teaching tool, the Envirothon helps educators bring environmental education to life. Training materials and expert support are provided at no cost, and many participants go on to pursue careers in conservation and science. In fact, some former Envirothon students are now high school science teachers leading teams of their own!
The competition is a unique, field-based experience that inspires the next generation of environmental stewards.

July 1–31, 2025
Walk 30 miles in the month of July — anywhere, anytime — and support environmental education in Delaware.
