Officials Insist Iraqi Vote to Proceed, Despite Violence

NPR's Alex Chadwick speaks with Edmund Sanders, a correspondent for The Los Angeles Times in Baghdad, about the surge in violence ahead of Iraq's landmark Jan. 30 elections. Attacks have reportedly killed more than 90 people in the last four days, but American and Iraqi leaders insist the election will go on as scheduled.
