The low percentage of Americans receiving their seasonal vaccines is alarming public health officials. For the flu the number is around 37% and for COVID it is 19%. Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush talks with Nandini Selvam, vice president at Observational Health Data Sciences, and Informatics and Michelle Fiscus, Chief Medical Officer for the Association of Immunization Managers, about the implications.

Don Rush is the News Director and Senior Producer of News and Public Affairs at Delmarva Public Media. An award-winning journalist, Don reports major local issues of the day, from sea level rise, to urban development, to the changing demographics of Delmarva.
