Underwater grasses expanded by 12 percent last year. But that is far short of the goal. In our weekly series with the Bay Journal Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush talks with editor-at-large Karl Blankenship about the significance of the increase and the impact warmer weather may have ahead.

Don Rush is the News Director and Senior Producer of News and Public Affairs at Delmarva Public Media. An award-winning journalist, Don reports major local issues of the day, from sea level rise, to urban development, to the changing demographics of Delmarva.
