Shaquille Gaskins Arrested in Salisbury Murder

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) - Maryland State Police have arrested a man in connection with murder in the shooting death of another man in a Salisbury home.

Troopers said in a news release that 22-year-old of Salisbury has been charged with first-and second-degree murder in the death of 24-year-old Irvonte C. Jones of Salisbury. Shaquille Gaskins was served with a warrant this week at in the Wicomico County Detention Center, where he is awaiting trial for a separate case.

Investigators say Jones was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at his girlfriend's home on April 3. He died at a hospital.
