Maryland State Police say that 24-year old Irvonte Jones was shot and killed at a home on Pierce Avenue in Salisbury.
State troopers arrived before 10 p.m. last night and were told by the owner of the home that her boyfriend had been shot.
WBOC reports that a preliminary investigation found that Jones was alone in the home when he was shot.
Police say they have no motive for the shooting nor do they know whether those responsible forced their way into the home.
