Sussex County Council Member Sam Wilson Suffers Stroke

Sussex County Council member Sam Wilson has suffered a stroke that put him in Christiana Medical Center.

WBOC reports that his wife said Wilson fell on Friday after suffering the stroke.

She said therapy is set to begin on Monday.

The television station reports that she said while his doing fine, but that a long recovery is expected.  

She added, “He’s bubbling to get back to the council.”

In November of last year the 77 year-old Wilson underwent open heart survey.
