Route 54 is now – for all practical purpose ready for motorists -- bringing some relief to residents of Fenwick Island who wanted the construct ion to be done before Memorial Day.
Geoff Sundstrom with the Delaware Department of Transportation told the Wilmington News Journal that crews will still be on site to remove some equipment and complete some last minute items like drainage work.
