The Wicomico County Council has voted to eliminate the two at-large seats so that the council would now consist of seven separate districts. The Board of Education is expected to vote on eliminating its two at large seats as well. This week's vote follows a settlement of a lawsuit filed by the NAACP and other local organizations.
