Sussex Residents Beat Back Proposed Cement Crushing Plant

Chicagoland Concrete

On a 4 to zero vote the Sussex Board of Adjustment turned down a request to build a concrete crusher plant near Bridgeville. Delmarva Public Media's Don Rush talks with Tom Moran, a resident of nearby 55-plus Heritage Shores development, about the effort to halt the plant. Moran also sits on the Bridgeville Town Commission, but emphasized he only spoke for himself.

Don Rush is the News Director and Senior Producer of News and Public Affairs at Delmarva Public Media. An award-winning journalist, Don reports major local issues of the day, from sea level rise, to urban development, to the changing demographics of Delmarva.
