The Florida school shooting that left 17 people dead has the nation reeling and politicians scrambling to respond. President Donad Trump praised the first responders and expressed condolences for those who lost their lives. But students at the high school are now demanding action on gun safety.
Last week also saw the failure of the U.S. Senate to approve legislation that would have allowed those undocumented immigrants who came to this country as children to stay under the DACA program.
On Friday Maryland's two senators came to the campus of Salisbury University and reacted to last week's events.
